Frequently asked questions
Where can I get a forklift licence in Emsland?
The forklift licence (FFZ-Schein) is available at the Miet-Express GmbH Academy in Lathen-Fresenburg or, on request, at your own company. Training follows DGUV Principle 308-001 and consists of theory, practice and an exam. Afterwards you receive an operator card.
Where can I get an excavator licence?
The excavator licence is available at Miet-Express in Lathen-Fresenburg or in-house at your company. Training to DGUV Principle 301-005 is aimed at operators of earthmoving machinery such as hydraulic excavators and wheel loaders and covers theory and practice on the machine.
Does Miet-Express also offer an aerial platform licence?
An aerial platform licence is also available at Miet-Express: training for operators of aerial work platforms to DGUV Principle 308-008 covers theory, practice, an exam and a certificate, at your own company on request.
Can the training take place at my company?
Training at your own company is possible by arrangement, on request on the machines your staff will later work with. Dates, number of participants and scope are agreed with Miet-Express.
Who is the training suitable for?
The training is suitable for beginners and experienced operators, for individuals and businesses. The instructor is Thomas Schotter, instructor for industrial trucks and earthmoving machinery. On successful completion you receive a certificate.
How often do employees need a safety briefing?
Under DGUV Regulation 1, a safety briefing is mandatory at least every 12 months. Miet-Express offers this annual briefing as a refresher for businesses, on site too.
